Last year was kinda odd for me because i didn't see to many shoes that i wanted. And you can ask anyone who's known me since high school..I love me some shoes.I can count on one hand all the shoes i wanted last year, and i got them all.This year every time i look up there's a new pair i want. All i have to say is "where's the Blue Genie from Aladdin when I need him"?

There's been moments, where I've been like wow Pharrell can really dress well. But then there's been other moments where i wasn't impressed with his attire.But at this moment I'm AMAZED. This has to be the best outfit I've ever seen him wear. Everything just compliments each other well from the jacket, to the shirt, to the jeans! And don't let me get started on those jeans! Those are the DOPEST jeans I've ever seen...Oh and i do mean EVER!

3.I don't think a tie is a relic, not yet. It's purely masculine—that one garment that allows you to go a little outside the box. A tie with a well-cut suit makes you look put-together and confident. It's an auto-chic, easy uniform.

4.Cigarettes are a vile, dirty habit. Joints, on the other hand, are perfectly acceptable.

5.Whenever you start a new project or a new job, don't tell anyone what you're working on, because it can change direction a million times and once you start telling the world about it, you get constrained by your own mouth.

6.That skin-toned paste your girlfriend gave you to treat your pimple is makeup. Don't kid yourself. You're a girl if you use it. Figure something else out.

7.Rabid atheism does not lead to attractive or acceptable cocktail-party conversation. You know who you are and you need to chill. We get it, okay? God is for dummies. Now shut your hole.

So today, i was surfing the web and came across these "Bad Boys". I know what your thinking "Drew in a Boot"? all i have to say is "What you want me to do...I'm sorry". Allow me to give you a brief description on these puppies. These are Martin Margiela "Beautiful Boots"( and yes they are),Made from rich grey suede with waxed accents, these handsome boots are based on a pair of 70s riding boots found in the South of France. Has two pulls, an oval toe, leather sole and variegated stacked heel. the price tag is 439 UK...which turns out to be 577 US ouch!

For fifty years Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berge actively collected art, amassing a collection of some 700 works over the period. Included are paintings by Picasso, Goya and Mondrian. Housed in the pairs Paris’ apartment, the collection has been kept relatively private, the Laurent truly living with his art. Christies will be auctioning the estate this year, and Wallpaper* has published a “preview” of the expected lots. This is far less a preview than a view into Laurent’s living space. And, ultimately, the joy of the images comes in that.

I find myself really excited for this movie. I'm like a big GEEK when it comes to fantasy films. From my point of view, fantasy films really allow you to explore crevasses of someone Else's imagination, perhaps that why i love them so much.So this film is a no brainier, as far as I'm concerned.

(NEW YORK) The CFDA and GQ have collaborated once again on the Best New Menswear Designers in America project, which recognizes six finalists selected by GQ creative director Jim Moore and Damien Nunes. This year, the featured brands include Benjamin Bixby, Robert Geller, Rogues Gallery, Save Khaki, Shipley & Halmos and Yigal Azrouel. Each designer will present a selection of looks from his 2009 fall collection at an event on February 11, 2009; the winner will subsequently be selected by a panel of industry experts including GQ's editor Jim Nelson, CFDA executive director Steven Kolb and designer Thom Browne.
"We had such a tremendous response from last year's competition, and were so happy with the success of that first collaboration, that we're excited and determined to build on it," said Nelson. "It helps that the field of promising new talent is very strong out there, as vibrant as we've ever seen it."
Levi's and Bloomingdale's have signed on as sponsors. The winning designer will receive a $50,000 prize and the chance to design a capsule collection for Levi's, which will debut exclusively at Bloomingdale's during a month-long program this fall, and the looks will also be availble for purchase on levi.com. Additionally, the winner will participate in a mentoring program developed by GQ, Levi's and Bloomingdale's--and naturally, an item from the Levi's capsule collection will be featured in the September 2009 issue of GQ.
All finalists were profiled by Jason Chen and photographed by Peggy Sirota for the February issue of the magazine, which hits newsstands today.ASHLEY BAKER
