Creative Edge..NATHAN JENDEN

The 34-year-old clothier designed for Daryl K in the '90s and has been the creative director of Diane Von Furstenberg since 2001. February's Fashion Week will mark his eponymous label's first-ever runway show, a presentation at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon at the Inn at Irving Place.

The Goods: Titled Angel Heart, Jenden's premiere collection is a punkish, goth-inspired line with an emphasis on sharp tailoring and an androgynous attitude. With such pieces as high-waisted pants and cropped jackets, Jenden focuses on silhouettes by maneuvering the fabric to create deft folding, layers and draping.
